Additional Wine Storage Capacity

CLIENT: De Wet Cellar   |   LOCATION: N1 between Worcester and De Doorns

Additional red wine storage capacity was needed and better space utilization was identified. The expansion replaced the old capacity as well as adding additional capacity for surplus wine storage. A 30-ton static drainer was also installed with the two new tanks in the existing cellar space making it a very cost-effective upgrade.

The project included civil construction with structural elements. 2 x 100 000 L stainless steel tanks, the tank-cooling system for wine temperature regulation and catwalks with stairs to gain excess to the 8.5-meter-high tanks and static drainer.
